Today's effort was a workmanlike seven inning outing in which he allowed three earned runs and a homer, but he didn't walk anyone and he struck out five. Pedro Beato picked up the save. Dariel Alvarez continued mashing. The Cuban outfielder doubled and homered, while Christian Walker and Rey Navarro also doubled. Walker's double was his team leading 18th.
