As go the Orioles, so go their farm teams. That's not actually a true statement, but nonetheless the parent club and all four affiliates all managed to lose games on Friday, most because they just didn't muster enough offense.
Christian Walker had three hits for the Tides, including a solo home run in the sixth inning and an RBI double in the seventh that put Norfolk on top for good. Walker had two doubles in addition to the homer. That was part of a 12-hit effort by the Tides offense. Teammates Nolan Reimold, Henry Urrutia, and Michael Almanzar also had multi-hit games.
