Just two games on the docket, but the Baby Birds take both of 'em.
Sustained offense and solid pitching were a winning combination for the Tides. 15 hits, including 3 apiece from Chris Parmelee and Steve Clevenger, powered the bats. While Chris Jones spun 7 innings while allowing just 5 hits and 3 runs. Clevenger belted his 2nd dinger of the season, and Parmelee is now slashing a nifty .347 / .428 / .486 on the season. Nolan went 2 for 4 with a walk. And Paul Janish had an eventful day: 2 for 2 with 2 walks for a perfect day at the plate.
