Orioles minor league recap 9/12: Bowie wins in a walkoff, Kyle Bradish pitches well for Norfolk

Kyle Bradish (4-5, 5.02 ERA) got the win with five innings of one-run baseball. Bradish allowed just a solo home run and struck out five. He’s been solid in his last two starts. Félix Bautista pitched a scoreless inning in which he allowed two hits but also struck out the side.

The Tides scored one run on a Tyler Nevin single, another on a Robert Neustrom long ball (his 7th at Norfolk), and third on a Yusniel Díaz single. Díaz had a 2-for-3 day (finally!), as did Neustrom. Adley Rutschman was 0-for-3 but walked once.

Norfolk Tides 1, Durham Bulls 6 (Game 2)

The Tides’ one run came in auspicious circumstances: Kyle Stowers’ first home run at Norfolk.
