Norfolk exploded for four runs in the first and never looked back in a blowout victory over Durham. Connor Norby got the Tides on the board with the first of his four RBIs. Norby finished 2-for-5 with a homer, double, three runs scored, and a walk.
There’s plenty of fun stat lines in this one. Jackson Holliday finished 2-for-4 with a pair of walks and three runs scored. Both of Holliday’s hits were for extra bases. Kyle Stowers went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Coby Mayo doubled, walked twice, and scored three times.
Garrett Cooper led the team with five RBIs.
