The Tides started their day by completing a game that got suspended in the ninth a month ago. The game resumed tied 4-4 with two outs in the bottom of the final frame. With runners on first and second, Nick Maton grounded out to second to send things to the 10th. In the top of the 10th, Nolan Hoffman got a leadoff groundout, but then walked the bases loaded. Hoffman then left a 2-2 sinker up in the zone to Danny Mendick, who lined it into left to drive home two. In the bottom of the 10th, the Tides went down in order to seal the win for Charlotte.
