The Tides got the win in a close game last night, even though starter Keegan Akin lasted just two innings. His final pitching line was two runs allowed, two hits, one walk, five strikeouts, and one home run. The Tides bullpen then combined to throw seven innings of one run ball.
On offense, the Tides got solo home runs from Mason McCoy and Ryan McKenna. Brett Cumberland had a pair of RBI and Yusniel Diaz drove in a run as well.
