Pawtucket snapped the Tides’ five-game winning streak, as four pitchers combined to hold them to just an unearned run, stranding 10 runners on base. Norfolk managed just seven hits, three of them from No. 9 hitter Jack Reinheimer, and the top six batters in their lineup were a combined 1-for-22. Cedric Mullins doubled for the Tides’ only extra-base hit. Ryan Mountcastle, Anthony Santander, DJ Stewart, and Chance Sisco all took 0-fers, though Sisco drew two walks.
Josh Rogers had a mediocre outing for Norfolk. He worked into the seventh inning but was tagged for nine hits and four runs.
