Orioles minor league recap 5/7: Hunter Harvey fires six scoreless, Delmarva wins again

Hunter Harvey dominated in Altoona for six shutout innings. The Orioles top pick in the 2013 draft allowed only two hits, walked just one and struck out five. He threw 81 pitches, 52 for strikes, and pitched six complete innings for the first time since 2014. That last stat seems next to impossible, but it’s the truth. It speaks to the amount of time the 24-year-old has missed with injuries.

Harvey sandwiched 15 consecutive outs in between singles in the first and sixth innings. The win, his first of the season, proves that he’s healthy.
