Bowie got shut out for the seventh time this season. Erie starter Matt Manning (2.27 ERA) dominated Baysox hitters over seven innings, allowing just three singles—one apiece by Ryan McKenna, Rylan Bannon, and Zach Jarrett.
Baysox righty Marcos Molina (4.68 ERA) pitched three scoreless innings before the Seawolves sent ten men to the plate in the fourth, scoring four runs on a double and a pair of home runs. Tyler Chleborad (3.21 ERA) had a strong outing, pitching two and a third innings in relief and giving up just an unearned run on a throwing error by third baseman Alexis Torres.
