The Norfolk Tides put together an all-around quality performance on Friday night against the Bisons. The Tides offense scattered a handful of runs over the course of the game, including one in the first, two in the second, one in the third and one in the fifth.
Tim Melville started for the Tides and got the win with six innings pitched, one run, five hits, three walks and three strikeouts. Josh Edgin got the hold with 1.1 scoreless innings and three strikeouts. He has not allowed an earned run yet this year. Jhan Martinez got the save, his second on the season.
