Tides starter Kyle Bradish continued his recent run of success against the Bulls, pitching five innings of one-run ball. Along the way, he allowed four hits and one walk while striking out six batters. Bradish will end the year with a 4.26 ERA at Triple-A, and a 3.68 ERA overall (including a 0.00 ERA in 13.2 Double-A innings).
The only damage off Bradish came in the third inning. The righty allowed a leadoff double before retiring the next two Durham batters in a row. One out away from escape, Bradish surrendered a line-drive single to center that gave the Bulls a 1-0 lead.
