Orioles shortstop Manny Machado ensured early Sunday that his team wouldn't flirt with another shutout or no-hitter, and grabbed a piece of the major league home run lead in the process.
Machado sent a 2-0 fastball from Corey Kluber into the left-field seats for his seventh home run of the season with two down in the first inning, then sat back on a curveball and drove it into the Orioles' bullpen for his second of the game in the fourth inning to tie the game at two.
He's now riding a 10-game hitting streak, and has the distinction of posting all three of the Orioles' multi-homer games this season after doing so on Thursday in Detroit and on April 5 in New York.
