The Baltimore Orioles made an impact at the opening of the 2021-22 international signing period on Saturday, where the team inked 24 prospects to contracts.
The top prospects the Orioles signed are 16-year-old outfielder Braylin Tavera (No. 22 on the MLB Pipeline's Top Baseball International Prospects List), shortstop Leandro Arias (No. 46) and infielder César Prieto.
Tavera became the highest-paid international signee in team history, signing a $1.7 million deal.

Of the players signed, 12 hail from the Dominican Republic, 10 from Venezuela, one from Cuba and one from Panama.
