The Orioles lost tonight to the Rangers 6-3 on the backs of a disastrous and unfortunate 6th inning.
The Battle of the Aces. Aces Wild. Ace Off. These are some of the terrible titles you could have used going into tonight's game. The very nature of a starting rotation is that someone is the number one starter and for the Orioles that's Chris Tillman. Well, for the Rangers it's Cole Hamels and Hamels is an actual ace whereas Tillman is one by subtraction. Tonight, neither of them pitched like one in a game the Orioles lost 6-3.
Both pitchers were able to work the first couple of innings clean with only one base runner allowed between them.
