The Blue Jays are perched over the Orioles castaways like vultures once again. Their latest claim is Jimmy Paredes.
Jimmy Paredes has been out of sight and out of mind for the Orioles since the end of spring training, when he went on the disabled list with a sprained left wrist. He will now be off the roster as well. MASN's Roch Kubatko reported on Monday afternoon that Paredes has been claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays.
It was not a surprise that Paredes ended up on waivers. That became known yesterday, the final day of his rehab assignment with Norfolk.
