After the their bats opened their Grapefruit League opener hot, the Orioles blew an early four-run lead in their Grapefruit League opener Tuesday afternoon in a 4-4 tie in 10 innings against the Atlanta Braves at Champion Stadium in Lake Buena Vista.
The Orioles went up 4-0 after Christian Walker’s two-run homer in the third inning off Braves pitcher Danny Burawa.
Orioles starter Mike Wright retired six of the seven batters he faced over his two innings. Tyler Wilson stranded two runners in scoring position, striking out Braves slugger Freddie Freeman to complete a scoreless third inning.
