The Orioles didn’t lose Thursday, but they didn’t end their winless streak either.
The Orioles rallied from a three-run deficit late in the game, but ended up settling for a 4-4 tie at Ed Smith Stadium – the same score by which they tied their Grapefruit League opener in Orlando nine days earlier. They lost nine straight games in between.
It looked like that streak would reach 10 after the Yankees carried a 4-1 lead into the seventh inning, but the Orioles took advantage of two errors to score three unearned runs.
