Orioles' first 'Bark at Oriole Park' event, despite rain, delights fans and furry friends alike

This Orioles season has been rough for fans, but on Wednesday night, it was ruff.

For the team’s first “Bark at Oriole Park,” Camden Yards doubled as both a ballpark and a dog park, as a projected 200 dogs milled about the concourse and filed into their seats to watch the Orioles take on the Boston Red Sox.

That is, if the dogs and their owners actually made it to their seats.

”We’ve been here a half hour, and we’ve only walked three feet,” said Dan Stevenson, 29, of Riverside, who donned a UMBC Retrievers cap on his head.
