Orioles fall short in Oakland, 3-2

The Orioles handed Oakland right-hander Kendall Graveman his shortest outing of the season back on May 8, chasing him from the game after 2 2/3 innings when he allowed six runs – including four homers.

But in their series opener in Oakland on Monday night, the Orioles scraped just one run off Graveman over seven innings in a 3-2 loss to the Athletics in front of an announced crowd of 10,407 at O.co Coliseum.

Orioles right-hander Kevin Gausman – the victim of poor run support throughout the season – was the losing pitcher despite delivering a quality start.
