There’s no sugarcoating this game: it stunk. It pretty much stunk all around. Bad hitting. Ugly pitching. Iffy defense. This game had all of the things you never want to see from your favorite baseball team. It was a 11-1 loss.
Camden Yards was buzzing at game time. Over 32,000 fans showed up to welcome Jackson Holliday to Baltimore. The buzz languished as the Orioles fell apart and the rain began. Still nice to see such a good crowd.
First up in the trouble department was starting pitcher Tyler Wells. He’d had two underwhelming performances to start the season and his third tonight was just downright bad.
