The Orioles took a three-run lead into the eighth inning Sunday at Rogers Centre, but that cushion wasn’t enough as they were swept out of Toronto with a 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.
The Orioles bullpen gave up a pair of two-run homers — Randal Grichuk’s shot off Brad Brach and Yangervis Solarte’s game-winning blast off rookie left-hander Tanner Scott — losing their third straight game after the All-Star break.
Brach entered the game with a 4-1 lead but surrendered a leadoff walk to No. 9 hitter Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
