Tonight’s game between the Orioles and Rays lasted three hours, 20 minutes. There are usually a lot of twists and turns in a game that long and tonight was no exception. The Orioles started out looking dominant before the Rays scored four unanswered runs to tie the game.
But a three-run comeback, including a home run from an unlikely source, put the Orioles back on top where they managed to hold on despite a healthy dose of drama. In the end it was a 7-5 Orioles’ victory, their 70th of the season.
Things started out fabulously for starting pitcher Corbin Burnes.
