The Orioles finally announced the spring training broadcast schedule on Wednesday evening. The team will broadcast seven games on MASN and 13 games on the Orioles Radio Network, starting with the first Grapefruit League game between the O’s and the Twins on February 23. Not all of the TV games are also on the radio: A total of 16 of the 33 games will be on one or the other.
This is the same number of games as aired on MASN and the radio network last spring. What’s new for this year, and a treat to any Orioles fan who has found the lack of broadcasts for spring training games to be a disappointment in the past, is that 16 out of the 17 games that aren’t on either MASN or the Orioles Radio Network will have digital streaming broadcast on Orioles.
