The Orioles' minor league coaching staffs announced Friday feature a mix of familiar faces in new roles and fresh blood from the college and amateur ranks, as the organization looks to overhaul its player development system under a new front office.
Among the managers in new roles are Gary Kendall, promoted from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk, Buck Britton from Low-A Delmarva to Bowie, and Kyle Moore from Short-A Aberdeen to Delmarva. Former major league bullpen coach Alan Mills will managed the Gulf Coast League team.
Ryan Minor, Kevin Bradshaw, and Elvis Morel reprise their roles with High-A Frederick, Aberdeen, and the Dominican Summer League entrant, though Bradshaw didn't manage Aberdeen as assigned last year due to injury.
