Orioles’ All-Star contingent leads 9-1 blowout win in Texas to start the second half

The Orioles have been having a lot of fun at Globe Life Field this week.

Three days after flashing their talents at the Midsummer Classic, the Orioles’ collection of All-Stars again took the Texas ballpark by storm, leading their team to a 9-1 rout over the Rangers. Anthony Santander homered twice, Adley Rutschman homered once, Gunnar Henderson had four hits, and Corbin Burnes tossed yet another quality start as the O’s started the second half of the season with a bang.

What a difference a few days of rest can make, huh? The Orioles, who slogged into the All-Star break as a noticeably fatigued team, came out of the chute in the second half with a newfound vim and vigor.
