Orioles' 3B Ramón Urías wins first career Gold Glove

Baltimore Orioles third baseman Ramón Urías on Tuesday was named a 2022 American League Gold Glove winner by Rawlings.

Urías, 28, becomes the first Orioles player to win a gold glove since third baseman Manny Machado in 2015. Urias joins Machado and National Baseball Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson as the only Baltimore third baseman to win the award.

Urías played a career-high 98 games this season at third base. He had a .986 fielding percentage with 197 assists and 25 double plays turned.
