O'Day first injured hamstring May 24 in Houston

BALTIMORE -- Orioles reliever Darren O'Day, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a strained right hamstring, said he first injured his hamstring while warming up for a game in Houston on May 24. It didn't prevent him from pitching in the contest, though, and he tossed a scoreless frame in the 3-2 loss.

The All-Star received treatment in the ensuing days, and he pitched twice at Cleveland without any issues. By the time he was called on against Boston on Wednesday, he said he felt comfortable trotting at his normal speed from the bullpen to the mound.
