Years from now, when historians look back on the debacle that was the 2018 Orioles, one thing that will stand out is their sheer ineptitude on the road.
When you look at their 27-50 home record, you think, “Wow, that’s horrible.” But then you see their 18-60 road record and you think, “Wow, that’s...not even mathematically possible, is it? I mean, how on earth?” And then your brain explodes. It’s epically, mind-bogglingly bad.
The good news is that tonight begins the Orioles’ final road series of the year, a three-game set at Fenway, and then they can throw their gray jerseys straight into the garbage.
