Mike Wright hit hard before Trey Mancini gives Orioles 5-5 tie with Twins

Orioles right-hander Mike Wright endured a nightmare second inning that dented his hopes of breaking camp in the starting rotation, but home runs by Chris Johnson and Trey Mancini helped the Orioles draw back for a 5-5 tie Friday night against the Minnesota Twins.

Wright worked out of a two-on, two-out jam in the first inning, but surrendered five runs on six hits — three doubles and three singles — in the second inning, his last of the day.

"I felt pretty good," Wright said.
