Miguel Gonzalez leaves Tuesday's Orioles game with right groin strain

The Orioles might have lost starting pitcher Miguel Gonzalez to a groin injury. He left Tuesday's game after only 4.1 innings.

An Orioles pitching staff that's short-handed while Brian Matusz is suspended was dealt another blow in Tuesday's game. Starting pitcher Miguel Gonzalez was pulled from the game after only 4.1 innings pitched with what the team announced as a right groin strain.

After Dustin Pedroia grounded out to shortstop for the first out of the fifth inning, manager Buck Showalter, pitching coach Dave Wallace, and trainer Richie Bancells all came out of the dugout together and, after a very short conversation, removed Gonzalez from the game.
