Life is good for the Baltimore Orioles. Nearly at the season’s quarter pole, this team has met many of the lofty expectations they faced entering the year. They sit atop the AL East, boast one of the most dynamic offenses in baseball and feature a deep pitching staff led by offseason addition Corbin Burnes. It’s everything the fanbase could have hoped for.
At the same time, there are areas that could be improved. Specifically, an upgrade at the back of the bullpen (something the Orioles are reportedly in the preliminary stages of sorting out) and an everyday improvement at either second or third base, depending on which position Jordan Westburg is not playing in a given game.
