Brian Matusz was back in the Orioles clubhouse Saturday and is expected to be activated from the suspended list Sunday.
On Saturday, the lefty will finish serving his eight-game suspension for using a "foreign substance" in a game May 23 at Miami. He had a combination of rosin and sunscreen on his right, non-throwing arm that he was using to get a better grip on the ball.
Matusz hasn’t talked publicly about the incident, and didn’t say much Saturday – choosing his words carefully.
“It is what it is,” Matusz said. “[Major League Baseball] said eight games, so it’s eight games.
