WASHINGTON -- With his club closing in on a deal that would send him to a contender, lone Orioles All-Star Manny Machado grinned on Tuesday when asked about enduring daily trade rumors.
"This is probably going to be the last one I answer," Machado said to the large group assembled in the American League clubhouse at Nationals Park before the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard. "There will be a time and place where I'll be here again, answering questions if it happens or it doesn't. But for now, I'm just trying to worry about today, not try to worry about anything else.
