Manny Machado and Craig Gentry use Trey Mancini’s bat to hit home runs

For the second time this season, Trey Mancini hit two home runs in one game today. He was a player without a position going into spring training, but his willingness to learn the outfield (and the Orioles’ willingness to have subpar defenders out there) and his hot bat have earned him a place on the team for now. His bat is so hot, in fact, that other players want to give it a try.

With lefty J.A. Happ on the mound for the Blue Jays today, Mancini found himself in the lineup at his natural position of first base.
