Baltimore Orioles outfielder and first baseman Trey Mancini is partnering with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, the team announced Thursday. The Orioles are selling T-shirts to benefit the nonprofit.
Mancini, who was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year, will participate in the group's "Never Too Young" advisory board.
The Orioles are selling #F16HT T-shirts to benefit the nonprofit. The shirts are $25 and are being sold through the team website.
“I’ve learned firsthand that colon cancer doesn’t discriminate when it comes to age,” Mancini said in a statement. “One in ten colorectal cancer patients are diagnosed before age 50.
