ATLANTA -- After more than five hours of play at SunTrust Park on Friday night and into the early hours of Saturday morning, the Orioles finally walked away with a 10-7 win over the Braves in 15 innings.
Tied at 7, O's slugger Manny Machado broke up the scoreless stint of extras with a two-run homer against one of the last Braves' relievers in Peter Moylan. It was Machado's 19th long ball of the season. Jonathan Schoop added an insurance run with a two-out RBI single to left field.
But it took a lot for the Orioles to get to the 15th inning.
