BALTIMORE -- Manny Machado is showing no signs of slowing down.
Machado, who entered Friday with an impressive .350 batting average, hit his team-leading 11th homer in the first inning against Rays righty Jake Faria to give Baltimore an early 2-0 lead.
Machado, who has 31 RBIs, homered for the second consecutive night in the opening frame. After Adam Jones' one-out single, Machado sent Faria's first pitch -- an 83-mph slider -- over the left-center-field fence. Machado is now just two homers shy of Major League leader Mookie Betts.
