Lee to miss rest of spring due to oblique strain

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Orioles left-hander Chris Lee has a right oblique strain and will miss about four weeks, manager Buck Showalter said Wednesday.

Lee was removed from Tuesday's game in Port Charlotte in the third inning after he faced one batter, and was sent for an MRI Wednesday morning.

"That's one injury that pretty standard length of time, 23-30 days," Showalter said. "That's going to be some significant time for him."

Lee won't have any more chances to try and impress the Orioles with Spring Training ending on March 25. After a disappointing 2017 season at Triple-A Norfolk, during which he went 5-6 with a 5.
