Kremer goes six, Henderson hits 30th homer as Orioles beat Nationals, 4-1

The Orioles! Some days they’re good! Solid starting pitching? Check. Excellent bullpen? Check. Timely offense? Check again.

On a night when the Orioles needed a good start, Dean Kremer came through. He completed six innings with just one run allowed. He allowed a decent amount of traffic on the bases, but he never gave up his slim lead.

After a 1-2-3 top of the first inning, Kremer’s offense gave him an early lead on Gunnar Henderson’s 30th home run of the year. Austin Slater, leading off against a lefty starter, dropped a beautiful bunt base hit to set the table.
