Judge HR Rallies Yankees To Another Win Over Orioles 8-6

Down by a run and held scoreless since the first inning, the New York Yankees appeared to be in trouble with three outs to go against the Baltimore Orioles.

Manager Aaron Boone didn’t see it that way.

“Absolutely not,” Boone said after the Yankees rallied to an 8-6 victory Thursday night. “Guys can hurt you up and down the lineup, obviously. That was the case tonight.”

Aaron Judge hit a three-run homer in the ninth after New York blew an early five-run lead, giving the Yankees a sweep of this impromptu two-game series.

Luke Voit hit his first career grand slam for the Yankees, who stretched their winning streak against Baltimore to 18 games and notched their 17th consecutive victory at Camden Yards.
