Jones, Miley shine, but O's fall short vs. Jays

BALTIMORE -- Marco Estrada demonstrated pure dominance in Sunday's series finale against the Orioles. The Blue Jays' righty struck out a career-high 12 batters in Toronto's 3-1 victory.

Estrada (3-2) held the red-hot Baltimore offense to five hits, allowing just one run through 7 2/3 innings. It was the first time the Orioles have been held to less than two runs since May 7.

The Blue Jays' offense backed its pitcher in the first inning when a two-out error by Jonathan Schoop extended the inning, allowing Devon Travis to hit a three-run homer to left.
