BALTIMORE -- Adam Jones exited Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays in the top of the seventh inning with a stomach virus.
The news was a relief, considering the center fielder has been bothered by rib soreness that caused him to miss six games already this season.
Jones, who returned to the lineup Thursday in Texas, grounded out in the bottom of the sixth inning against Toronto starter Marcus Stroman. He was replaced in the top of the seventh by Joey Rickard, who moved over from left field and had Nolan Reimold take his spot.
