MINNEAPOLIS -- Adam Jones homered in the fifth inning and hit a go-ahead two-run single in the ninth to lift the Orioles to a 5-3 win over the Twins on Tuesday night at Target Field.
Twins closer Kevin Jepsen got two quick outs in the ninth, but gave up a double to Joey Rickard down the left-field line. Minnesota opted to issue an intentional walk to Manny Machado, but it didn't work out, as Jones smashed a hard liner to left that ricocheted off left fielder Oswaldo Arcia as he tried to make a sliding catch.
