At least this once, Orioles left fielder Hyun Soo Kim won’t go a week between starts. Kim, the lone bright spot in the Orioles’ 4-3 loss to the Houston Astros on Wednesday with his three hits and a walk in four plate appearances, is set to be back in the lineup Thursday, manager Buck Showalter said.
“We play everybody,” Showalter said. “That’s why I played him. I planned on playing him two out of three when we got here. He played well. I think watching some games, kind of getting acclimated to some things may have worked in his favor, but we’ll see.
