Homecoming king: Trumbo hits HR vs Angels

ANAHEIM -- Orioles slugger Mark Trumbo gave his family and friends something to cheer about early in Friday's game against the Angels, hitting a two-run home run to left field in the third inning.

It was the 13th homer of the season for Trumbo, the most in the American League.

Trumbo was born and raised in Anaheim and was drafted and developed by the Angels.

Before Friday's game at Angel Stadium, Trumbo said he was expecting about 40 friends and family members to be in attendance. He played four seasons for the Angels from 2010-13 and was an All-Star in '12.
