Austin Hays is back, folks! The Orioles’ left fielder, who has struggled mightily through the season’s first two months, broke out of that prolonged slump in a big way on Monday night. His two home runs led the O’s offense as they beat the Blue Jays 6-2 at Rogers Centre.
This was far from a one-man show, however. The Orioles hit four total home runs and compiled 10 hits as they beat up on old friend Kevin Gausman and the Jays bullpen.
Anthony Santander got the scoring going in the second inning when he smacked a two-run homer on a laser beam down the right field line.
