NEW YORK -- Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman will see team orthopedist Dr. Michael Jacobs when the team starts a homestand on Monday and will get an MRI on his right shoulder on Tuesday. Gausman, who went on the disabled list on Friday with tendinitis, has been on anti-inflammatory medication and reported to be feeling better on Sunday. The team just wants to make sure it knows the true severity of the situation.
Orioles catcher Matt Wieters will catch eight innings in extended spring camp on Tuesday, followed by nine innings on Thursday and Saturday.
