Hello, friends.
There are now 76 days remaining until Orioles Opening Day, which happens to be the number of trombones that led the big parade on the historic day where Gilmour, Liberate, Pat Conway, the Great Creator, W.C. Handy, and John Philip Sousa all came to town.
We're also now down to 32 days until pitchers and catchers report to the start of spring training. Not to sound like a broken record, but I really hope Dan Duquette figures this out soon.
Today is interesting in the baseball offseason because it's the deadline for teams to either settle on 2018 contracts for their arbitration-eligible players or swap salary numbers for a possible future arbitration hearing.
