The Famous Fund has been surprising restaurateurs across Baltimore with funds to help them weather the COVID-19 pandemic.
For their latest gift, they called in a favor from halfway across the world to do the honors. Former Orioles outfielder Adam Jones, now of Japan's Orix Buffaloes, rang up Marie Branch, owner of Simply Marie's in Canton.
